Four Corners Sotrytelling Festival

Motoko and Bill Harley

I had thought about going to the festival as a volunteer, but I had my fiance's little sister Friday night and so decided just to take her and my mom on Saturday.
Motoko was absolutely wonderful!  She was beautiful inside and out.  Her sense of humor and sing-song voice kept the entire audience captivated for the thirty minutes that she performed, and I'm positive I wasn't the only person who wished that she could have performed twice as long.
Bill Harley was such a hoot!  He was so closely connected to everyday experiences...and made them seem not mundane, but something to take advantage of.  His story about being in third grade kept me laughing the entire time.  I loved that he didnt let his microphone malfunctions keep him from enjoying telling his story.  He used those mishaps to embelish his story and make it that much funnier!
